This wooden powder flask is Moroccan, late 19 – early 20 C. Carved in a single wood block with a wooden cover and bone inserts. 3 ½ inches diameter, 2 inches tall with a 4 ½ inches spout. Total length 6 ½ inches. Very good condition with good age patina. It should be noted here that some sources define this shape of flask as Ottoman, but we think that the wood pattern and decorations are typical North African.
