This large and heavy silver mounted Jambia dagger is coming from Taiz in Yemen, second half of the 20th C. Classical shaped curved massive and well forged blade 9 inches long 3 inches wide with a central rib. Heavy silver (low silver) handle and scabbard. Arabic inscription, probably of the owner name on the back side of the pommel. Total length 16 inches. Very good condition. Minor dent on the back side of the scabbard.
