The BULLOVA is the traditional fighting axe of the Chota Nagpur aboriginal tribes of central India. We offer here for sale a fine heavy exemplar, early 19 C. with a Moustache shaped blades, 9 inches long, engraved and marked H699 , probably a armory marking. Bamboo hafts, 35 ½ inches long with steel mounts, decorated with small brass domes on each of the Bamboo sectors, all original. Very good condition.
