This short sword is late 19 Century and comes from the coastal people of Somalia. It has a classical non-symmetrical leaf shape blade, 19 inches long. The handle is made of two horn sectors separated by steel. The pommel cap is classical pronged pommel. Total length 27 ½ inches. Very good condition. Fine age patina on the blade and handle. No scabbard.
