This type of long Jambiya dagger is common in the Western regions of Arabia, Hijaz and Asir. Sometimes it is referred to by collectors as Wahabite style. The one offered here is of higher quality of most one offered on the market. The blade is plain, high carbon steel, 14 inches long. The handle as well as the scabbard are finely chased silver with three red stones set at the pommel side. Total length 20 inches. This dagger comes with its original colored leather belt and steel buckler. Very good condition.
