This very good Parang sword is Indonesian, most probably from Java, early 20 C. Fullered blade 21 inches long, very nicely etched to imitated a pattern welded steel. Beautifully carved hardwood handle with silver collar. Wood scabbard mounted with silver locket and chape. Total length 26 ½ inches. Very good condition. .
