We offer for sale this fine Turkish Shamshir sword, with 18C. 33 inches long blade forged from wootz steel with good high contrast pattern. The grips are rhino horn with silver cross guard and grips strap. Beautiful original leather covered scabbard with finely chased silver mounts and carrying rings. Total length 39 inches. Very good condition. Minor blackened spots on the blade. Very impressive sword.
