This curved sword is Arab style shamshir late 19C. The blade is 28 inches long, deadly sharp, with a 7 inches back edge. Steel cross guard and brass grip strap with ivory grips partially bound with twisted brass wires. Silver pommel cap (later). Wood scabbard covered with black leather (recent repair). Total length 38 inches. Very good condition
