This sword also known as Khyber sword is Indian, early 19 C. or earlier. 22 inches blade, finely forged with a pronounced T spine. Ivory grips with steel bolsters and grip strap. Original scabbard with (later) leather cover and pierced silver chape. Total length 28 inches. Very good condition. Blackened areas on the blade, but no pitting. Very impressive and early sword of its kind.
