This fine Karud dagger, the straight blade version of the Pesh Kabz, is coming from North India/ Pakistan. It is mid to late 19 C. with a very good high contrast wootz blade, pronounces T spine and acute tip. Blade length 13 inches. Steel bolsters and grip strap with gold inlay decoration. Old ivory grips with very good age patina. Total length 17 inches. Very good condition. Minor age cracks on the grips but holds very solid. A very impressive dagger.
