This whole steel spear is coming from North – West Africa, probably from the Tuareg people. Early 20 C. Small 7 inches blade with barbed lower end and decorated with punched dot design. 11 ½ inches flat shaped tail. The haft is covered with leather strips and leather tufts. Length 78 inches. This spear comes with a tooled leather cover for the blade. Very good condition. Losses to the leather tufts and haft cover.
