This Kris sword is an early version, probably 19 C, with an earlier blade. The fine blade is forged from twisted steel core, forge welded between high carbon steel edges. Straight blade 24 inches long. The wood grip is bound with thread in a classical binding. Grained wood pommel. Wood scabbard. Total length 26 ½ inches. Very good condition. The very tip of the Ganja is broken. Minor edge nicks. Repaired crack on the scabbard. A rare blade.
