This fine Juggayan style Kris sword is Moro, South Philippines, early 20 C. or earlier. Wavy blade 20 inches long, forged from steel core and high carbon steel edges. Wood grip covered with gilded silver bands separated with bands of twisted silver wires and ending with a very big 6 ½ inches long ivory, pommel. Two silver clamps (Baca Baca). Later made wood scabbard bound with silver / white metal bands. Total length 31 inches. Very good condition.
