up for sale i a very rare early 19c Indian sword. It has an European style handle with large guard fully inlaid with fine Indian work of gold decoration typical to the period. The 37 inches long blade is blued at its top part and decorated with figures in gold and with geometrical engraving. The rest of the blade is fullered and has some punch decoration. The blade is either European made or European style Indian made. This sword is coming from the famous French collection of Mr. Charles Boutin that was collected in the early 20C and published in 1933 photo attached. Very good condition.This is a rare Interesting Indian sword of good quality.
