Old Stilleto Knife Dagger from Brazil - 6296
This stiletto / long knife is of Latin American origin, probably Brazil, although similar stiletto can be found also in the neighboring countries such as Argentina or Uruguay. The slender single edge blade is 10 inches long terminating in acute point. The blade heel is decorated with two strips of white metal. The handle is composed of layers of horn, bone and brass discs with white metal collar and pommel ball. Tooled leather scabbard. This is an authentic item, dated to the late 19 C. All parts original, no restored or replaced parts.Very good condition. One face of the blade has few small areas of light pitting.
