This very fine long gun is coming from Algeria. It is characterized by the long Miquelet lock with a safety catch and the dense silver decoration. 57 inches long and heavy signed barrel . The lock is in perfect working order, with very strong spring dated 1234 ( 1818 in the Gregorian calendar). Same date also appears with long inscription on the top of the stock. All wood work is richly decorated with inserted pierces silver panels. All silver bands are proof marked for the silver as well as marked with the make stamp. Original ramrod. Total length 73 inches. Very good condition. Minor losses to the silver inserts. Fine and rare gun.
