Very Rare and Unusual Triple Blade Indian Sword - 12708


This rare and unusual sword is Indian, most probably Central India, early – mid 19C. The main central blade is single edge, re-curved with a T spine, 21 inches long with a 1 ½ inches ricasso. The sides, sickle shaped folding blades are 9 inches each. The steel handle is decorated with silver Koftgari decoration. Total length 26 inches. Very good condition. Blackened areas on the blades with very shallow pitted spots. Minimal losses to the silver inlay. No scabbard
