Small Palestinian / Jordanian Bedouin Dagger Shibriya - 12692

A typical good example of the Bedouin side dagger locally known as Shibriya. All men carry it and it is very popular between the Bedouin tribes residing in Israel and in Jordan. The blade is 4 inches, re-curving and double edged with an acute tip, signed with a maker sign. The grip as well as the scabbard are covered with chased white metal on the front side and iron sheet on the rear. Both the handle and the scabbard are set with colored stones (glass). The scabbard is set with a belt loop at the rear side. Total length 8 inches. Very good condition. Minor dents. |
