Telek Dagger of the Tuareg - 6286


This is one of the many Variants of the Arm Dagger carried by the Tuareg. I t is called Telek or Gozma, and one of its characteristics is the cross shaped pommel (A relic from their Christian origin ??) . This specific one has a whole brass scabbard and arm ring pierced and engraved in a classical style. The blade is double edged, 12 inches long. The hilt is cast brass, lightly engraved. Total length (in scabbard) 18 inches. Very good condition. Minor opening in the scabbard seams at its top.
