We offer for sale a rare sword from Sulawesi (Celebes) island. It is from the Klewang family but of a rare form. The blade is heavy, 19 ½ inches long with a clipped at it widest point (3 inches) near the tip. The blade is forged from laminated steel. The handle is hardwood forked and with a central protrusion shaped like a face. Total length 26 inches. Very good condition. Few darkened spots on the blade and a very few age crackes on the wood hilt. A rare find.
