This fine Dah sword is most probably of Burmese origin, late 19 C. The blade, 25 1/2 inches long, is heavily inlaid with silver images of mythological figures of animal and people on both sides and on the heavy spine. The handle is wood covered with ray skin with very unusual brass nails inlaid decoration with silver collar and pommel. Total length 34 inches. Impressive item.
