A very good Arab Khnjar / Jambiya dagger, early 20 C., from Oman. It has a 6 ½ inches curved and dual edge well forged blade with a pronounced central rib. The handle is black hornwith silver mounts. The scabbard is “L” shaped mounted with filigree silver locket en suite with the hilt mounts. The belt attachment is made of complicate arrangements of 7 silver rings and twisted silver wire. Total length is 12 ½ inches. Very good condition. Minor pitted areas on the blade. The scabbard is partially restored.
