Big and Massive Qama Short Sword, Georgia, Late 19 C. - 12593
This Qama short sword is Georgian, late 19 C. of big dimensions: Blade 17 ½ inches long, 2 inches wide with off centered deep fullers and heat hardened edges. Walrus ivory and horn grips slabs with domed rivets, bound in the center with steel wire. Total length 22 ½ inches. Very Good condition. Minor blackened spots on the blade. Very impressive short sword.
