This yataghan sword is Turkish, late 18 – early 19 C. The 25 inches marked blade is forge welded from several twisted steel rods in a pattern known as Turkish Ribbon. The grips are horn. Total length 29 1/2 inches. Very good condition. The blade is inlaid with Tugra signature.
