This is a very good and typical example of the knife from the island of Crete in the Mediterranean. The 10 inches single edge blade, typically engraved and mounted with ivory grips widening toward the pommel in a form of split ears. The bolster and grip strap are engraved pewter. Wood scabbard covered with leather and two pewter mounts. Total length in scabbard 16 inches. Good condition, minor chips to the ivory ears. Pewter parts are covered with silver paint.
