Fine Sindh Enameled Matchlock Rifle - 12549


Up for Sale this beautiful and rare matchlock rifle from Sindh. Sindh is located between Indian in the east Baluchistan in the west and Pakistan in the north. In the 18 and 19c it was ruled by the Talpur family that were known for their love for art and had a center for producing fine arms. This Rifle has dark hard wood stock mounted with silver enameled mounts in blue and green colors. The 38 inches barrel is of fine quality twisted damscus steel inlaid with gold. Total length 58 inches. Good condition. It is dated late 18c to early 19c.
