This dagger / short sword is used by the Yakoma people from Zaire, but also find use with their neighboring tribes of the Sangi and Ngbandi. Heavy, large very well forged 19 inches blade engraved with typical design and inlaid with copper inserts, with thick “ear” at the base. Wood handle bound with iron and copper strips. Total length 24 inches. Very good plus condition. Coming from am old European collection that was sold 20 years ago to a local collector.
