We offer here for sale a small, old. mid 19 C. Sewar dagger / knife from central Sumatra. The Sewar is characterized by its down curving blade, by the grip shape and specifically by the down extending protrusion from the scabbard mouth. Here the light slim blade is 8 inches long, forged from good pamor steel. The grip is beutifuly carved hardwood. The scabbard is grained wood with ivory tip. Total length in scabbard 10 ½ inches. An old label is still attached to one side of the protrusion from the scabbard. Very good condition
