The Pata Indian gauntlet Sword that was evolved from the Kattar push dagger and was in use during several centuries in India. This one is probably early to mid 18 C. with a 35 inches double edge thin and very flexible blade. The hand gauntlet is made of steel with brass mounts. Total length 48 inches. Very good condition. Minor edge nicks and light pitting areas. No scabbard. A rare and impressive item.
