We offer for sale this beautiful whole steel Persian Jambiya dagger, constructed and decorated in the Qajar style typical to the second half of the 19 Century. A very good wootz (Damascus) blade, 11 ½ inches long, curved and double edged with reinforced edges and engraved ricasso panel at the top. Steel grip and steel scabbard richly decorated with silver koftgari work. Blade in very good condition, but the silver work is erased from the hilt and partially from the scabbard. Still an impressive piece of work at a very reasonable price.
