Fine Central Asian Quadara Sword Dated to 1325 (1907) - 12385


This sword is of Central Asian origin early 20 C. It has a massive 19 inches long single edge blades with a 6 inches false edge. The blade is finely fullered, marked with a deep maker mark and finely decorated with gold koftgari inlay work and dated to 1325 (1907 in the Gregorian calendar). The grips are black Buffalo horn mounted with three rivets on silver coins rosettes. Original scabbard, covered with green dyed leather with spiral stitched seam and mounted with nielloed silver locket and chape. Total length 25 ½ inches. Very good condition.
