This very good example of an Indian kard knife is mid 19C. The single edge wootz blade is 9 ½ inches long. Nicely forged wootz. Steel handle with traces of gold inlay work. Scabbard covered with finely chased silver. Total length 13 ½ inches. Very good condition. Dark age patina on the silver.
