The Persian Khanjar with split blade is quite common, but most if not all found on the market are newly made, bazaar items, of rather mediocre quality and bad workmanship. Up for sale is the real one. Very fine steel blade with central rib and reinforced edges, split to five points at the tip and gold decorated at the base. Whole steel handle and scabbard with traces of silver decoration. Blade 11 ½ inches, total length 18 ½ inches. Very good condition. Minor losses to the gold decoration. Minor dents on the scabbard. A rare genuine find.
