A very good Arab Jambiya dagger, late 19c. from Oman. It has a 7 inches curved and dual edge blade of good steel with a pronounced central rib. The hilt is made of horn with two silver rosettes and mounted with chased silver collar. The scabbard is “L” shaped covered with leather elaborately embroidered with silver wires, and mounted with chase silver locket en suite with the hilt mounts. 4 silver rings for carrying belt. Total length is 12 ½ inches. Good condition.
