Fine Early Moro Kris Sword with Twisted Steel Blade. - 12297

This Moro Kris is an early version, probably late 18 to early 19 C. The fine blade is forged from twisted steel core, forge welded between high carbon steel hard edges. Blade length 18. The grip is wood bound with thread. Total length 22 inches. Very good condition. Imitation Ganja line. The blade securing bands to the handle are missing. This item is coming from the John Woodman Higgins Armory Collection and was donated to the collection by the descendant of Brigadier General W.H. Sage. |
