This is a very nice Turkish Dagger in a Kindjal scabbard style. The dual edge blade with double fuller and reinforced edges is in the style of Turkish court daggers from the 17 C. it is made of good wootz (Damascus) steel, 9 inches long. The hilt is I shaped in ivory sectors. The scabbard is wood, covered with black leather Very good condition. The blade can entertain a better etching to reveal the full beauty of the Damascus pattern. There is an old repair on the Ivory grip. very minor pitting at the blade base.
