A fine Keris Penjang , also sometimes referred to as Execution Keris from Sumatra, late 19 - early 20 C. The blade is rather short for this style of kerises, 14 inches, but very well forged. The hilt is very finely carved from horn. Wood scabbard with finely chased silver mounts and silver bands. Total length 20 inches. Very good condition. A fine piece.
