Up for sale is this very fine Nimcha sword from Morocco. Finely forged blade with gold inlay decoration 31 inches long. The handle is carved from a massive piece of rhino horn with clear fibrous structure, set with enameled silver collar. The hilt guard and down curving quillons are steel with gold koftgari work. The scabbard is wood covered with the original red velvet and mounted with finely chased and enameled silver mounts in blue and green colors. Total length 37 inches. A fine piece of quality in very good condition.
