This unusual dagger is a rare version of the Yemenite Jambiya, although sometimes found in other regions of the Arabian peninsula. The blade of classical form but narrower, with a pronounced central rib. The handle of cylindrical form is made of silver, with fine filigree decoration. Leather covered scabbard with uprising tip. Blade 8 inches, total 12 inches. Very good condition. A belt probably made of leather, which was connected to the rear side of the scabbard is missing.
