This fine kard knife is Persian, late 18-early 19 C. Its employ a very fine wootz blade with a dark high contrast pattern known as Ladder (also Kirk Narduban). Walrus grips and steel grip strap with gold inlay decoration. Leather covered scabbard. Blade length 8 inches. Total 13 inches. Very good condition. Open seam at the scabbard tip.
