A Keris Penjang, also sometimes referred to as Execution Keris from Sumatra, late 19 - early 20 C. The massive blade is 19 ½ inches long. The hilt is very finely carved ivory with dark age patina. Fine grained wood scabbard with ivory tip. Total length 26 inches. Very good condition. Short age crack on the hilt. A fine piece.
