This large and heavy silver mounted Jambia dagger is coming from Taiz in Yemen, second quarter of the 20th C. Classical shaped curved blade8 ½ inches long. Heavy silver handle and scabbard with uprising tip. Arabic inscription, probably of the owner name on the back side of the handle. Total length 16 inches. Very good condition. Silver only on this dagger weighs about 1.0 Kg.
