This fine Qama dagger is dated to 1312 (1894 in the Gregorian Calendar). The unusual blade of shallow hexagonal / diamond cross section is 16 ½ inches long. The grips are walrus ivory on the front side and black horn on the rear. All mounts are finely chiseled gilded and nielloed silver. The back of the locked is dated. Total length 23 ½ inches. Very good condition. One rivet cap on the back of the grip is missing
