This small hide shield is probably made for a child, early 20C, most probably from Udaipur, Rajasthan. 13 inches in diameter, black lacquered with four gilded bosses and beautifully painted with gold colors depicting four scenes of tiger hunting four different animals. Original handles and hand cushions on the inner side. Very good condition. Very light shape distortion.
