This Khanjar dagger is Persian, mid 19C. mid Qajar period. Unusual shape of blade with a wide spine and reinforced edges. The blade is very finely chiseled at the base. Bone handle very elaborately carved in a classical Qajar style. Blade 11 ½ inches total 16 ½ inches. Very good condition. Age crack on one side of the grip but holds solid.
