This Indonesian dagger in the style of an Arab Jambiya is also known as and found in Sumatra and Mentawi islands. Its massive curved blade is 7 inches long, 2 ½ inches wide, with pronounced central ridge and forged from pamor steel. The handle and scabbard are hardwood and the scabbard bound with silver strips and silver locket. Total length 11 ½ inches. Very good condition. A repaired crack on the handle. Quite a scarce item.
