This very fine karud is Indian, late 19 C., with possibly earlier and fine Wootz (Damascus, watered) steel blade. One piece rock crystal handle. Wood scabbard covered with colored fabric and mounted with gilded silver mounts. Blade length 10 inches, total 16 ½ inches. Very good condition., Impressive piece.
