This Yemenite Jambiya dagger is also know as Thouma and it is carried mostly by high ranking peoples in the Yemenite society. The blade is wide, double edged with a pronounced central rib 8 inches long. The handle is carved from horn set with ion nails and imitation brass coins. The scabbard is large silver with fine filigree work. This Jambiya comes with its original velvet belt embroidered with silver and gilded threads. Total length of belt 42 inches. Very good condition.
