This interesting sword has a pattern welded blade, slightly up curving and widening at its base. 21 ½ inches long. The unusual handle is brass with a monster head pommel and D guard. Leather scabbard. Total length 27 inches. Very good condition. The very tip of the scabbard is damaged. The blade shape and construction suggest an Indonesian origin, although the handle shpe may indicate a Sri-Lanka origin or influence. Very good and interesting combination of styles.
