This Yemenite Jambiya dagger is also known as Thouma and it is carried mostly by high ranking peoples in the Yemenite society. The blade is wide, double edged with a pronounced central rib 9 inches long and 3 inches wide. The handle is carved from rhino horn of good age. The scabbard is wood with large silver chape decorated with gold. This Jambiya comes with its original wide belt adorned with silver / gold accessories. Total length of belt 40 inches. Very good condition. Authentic Jambiya from the second half of the 20 C.
